Indian mango and grapefruit juice

I love to make fresh juices at home and Spring always wakes this longing for making fresh juices of all kinds. I had make grapefruit juice and mango juices before separately, but never had put them together like this. This is a Indian recipe, hope everyone try it. It sound complicated to make the fresh juices at home, but is not...and is all so worth it! But if you cant, just buy organic mango juice and organic grapefruit juice and use the same measurements. Enjoy it!

First, let me explain you how to make the mango juice at home:

  1. Wash the mangoes, remove the skin and chop them into cubes. Add it to a mixer/blender along with ice cubes, add water and blend it to a smooth juice. (no sugars until the mix with the grapefruit is done)

  2. Strain and discard the leftover pulp(this step is purely optional). Add water if you want to dilute more or add ice cubes as I did and serve chilled.

And the grapefruit juice:

4 large grapefruits 1/2 cup water

Cut your grapefruits in half; it doesn’t matter if you cut them the “right way” or not, they juice the same. Use your juicer (electric or hand) to squeeze every last drop of tart juice out of them. Add your water, be sure to remove any seeds first & stir until mixed well. You may have to slightly adjust the amount of water to your liking…following this recipe made juice that was exactly what I wanted.

Note: this recipe doesn’t make very much so if you’re wanting a lot of juice you probably want to double (maybe even triple) it. The final yield for these measurements is 3 1/4 cups. I didn't ad sugar since it will be sweeten when the Indian juice is mix.
